Indiana Online
Online courses and virtual programs for district students. Reaches 35 of 35 full members in FY 26–27. Each service links to the districts using it and the ones not.
Internal 2 definitions were drafted without an authoritative source and need confirming. 1 service has no district marked against it in FY 26–27 — nothing is feeding it yet.
- Academy Academic Excellence Revenue
A full-time online program a district runs under its own name, with Indiana Online teachers and Canvas courses behind it — the district keeps the enrolment and the ADM.
Distinct from Supplemental: Academy students take their whole schedule online, so the district is standing up a virtual school rather than filling a scheduling gap.
13/35- Supplemental Academic Excellence Revenue
Individual online courses taken alongside a student’s in-person schedule — credit recovery, a course the school cannot staff, or a scheduling conflict.
34/35- FlexED Academic Excellence Revenue Draft
A flexible-pace enrolment option: the district keeps the teacher of record and Indiana Online supplies the course, so the pacing can be set locally.
3/35- Summer School Academic Excellence Revenue
Summer school delivered online. Districts either fund seats centrally or let families pay per course, and the contract each year says which.
29/35- Consulting Transformative Innovation Revenue No feed Draft
Advisory work for districts standing up or reworking their own virtual programs — course selection, staffing model, LMS setup and policy.
